New garden developments

I love this time of year… generally when I am growing plants I get so excited about watching them grow and seeing how they develop that I tend to check them at least a few times a day to see if they’ve gotten any bigger yet. For the last month, I’ve been checking a few times a day, and there has been NO difference. Apart from annoying differences like things eaten by the dreaded cutworm.

Last night I when I went to sleep there were a few scattered tomato blossoms and that was about it. This morning…there are all kinds of flowers blooming! And I swear the tomato plants grew a few inches during the night.
